Send Image Throuugh Skype For Business On Mac

I just downloaded Skype for Business for Mac, and it seems like there is a whole lot of work still to be done, like so much that it probably shouldn't have been released yet. For all its limitations, Lync seems to still be a better product at this point.

You apparently can't attach files at all. When others try to attach files for you it doesn't work.

If you start a video call and someone else tries to share a screen, you get a message that says 'The recipient tried to start a screen presentation, but this version of Skype for Business only supports that feature in conference calls and Skype Meetings.' I'm not sure exactly why there's a difference between those things and a regular video call??? Then in a regular 'Skype Meeting' I can share a screen but not attach files, and do not see the video of the other person whether or not I'm sharing.

If we start video call in IM, there is no screen share button in the dialog box. But if we add another user, the button will appear and I can share the Mac screen in the video call. As a workaround, I suggest you set up a meeting/conferencing, then share desktops/contents during the meeting. Your understanding is appreciated.

Hi Microsoft Any news on this? Seems really poor that this feature has been dropped!!

I work in IT and rely on being able to send colleagues screenshots through SFB on my Mac. Is this going to be addressed? As you can see others rely on this feature too. Why is it that this app does not perfom as the Windows version does? I am even having trouble with trying to sign in with a Lync phone using the new SFB - its rubbish.
