Excel for mac 2011 no tabs show. The only way to get it to show up is to do a series of steps: - uncheck Standard Toolbar menu and go back out; - go back in and check the Standard Toolbar and back to the spreadsheet - the Standard Toolbar still doesn't show up; - so then I click on the Layout tab on the ribbon.

I bought Scrivener last summer after I heard so many writers praise it for drafting and editing, but at the time, it seemed too daunting to learn, and I had a lot of deadlines to meet. Using Word was just easier, but I've decided to give it a shot again. I've been playing around with it for months. And it IS a lot to learn. As a matter of fact, I've been trying to figure out how to change the default font and line spacing settings for eons.
•Scrivener now uses Courier Prime as its default screenplay font. For existing screenplay projects, you can change back to your old font via the Script Settings panel (in the Format > Scriptwriting menu). The one reason I chose to draft all my writing in Scrivener was so I could keep my projects better organized. When I was using MS Word, I had numerous documents and no matter how careful I was labeling the file, I always managed to submit the wrong version of an article or I couldn’t find the recently revised document in my files.
I honestly was ready to give up on using it, because I did not want to have to change the font every singe time I added a new scene. So then I asked Twitter for help today, and Twitter, as usual, came to the rescue. Had better luck than I did at Googling the info and she came up with this tutorial: Unfortunately, I think it's for an older version of Scrivener, because the steps didn't match what I had on the app. Helped too, by tweeting this: Tools -> Options -> Editor -> click blue 'A' for fonts. So, I kinda sorta knew what I was looking for, thanks to these two lovely ladies, and the tutorial.
